TRIVIA TIME! For those of you who paid EXTRA SPECIAL attention when you read strip #63, you will have noticed when Winkin’s ex-wife was originally introduced only as CJ’s assistant, Winkin didn’t call her Diana. He called her Holly. Although I knew where the character was ultimately going to end up, I thought it would be interesting to have a number of the characters in the strip have “Christmas-themed” names, hence: Holly. It dawned on me later that I use “Holly Berries” as semantic form of cussing in the strip and realized that I didn’t want that connection to the character, even implied. So, I changed her named after another historical blonde Princess! You know the one!
