Strip 78 (8 Panels) - 1/9/2023
One of these days, when I upload an archive of my yearly self-produced Christmas cards, this strip will make more sense! Although this strip definitely plays off the last strip’s storyline, it also adds on “story-wise” to a “Greetings from Wonderland” comic strip piece I included in my card to friends and family in 2022. The short strip was about Blinkin informing Winkin that Research and Development had created a joke wrapping paper that would never “unwrap” the present it covered. But, before Blinkin announced this new discovery to Winkin, he grabbed a book off Winkin’s desk and wrapped it to display the paper’s unwrappability. Unfortunately, that resulted in Blikin getting whacked upside the head with the wrapped book as Winkin announced, “I was still reading that!” Unfortunately for Winkin, he now knows that the wrapping paper isn’t as unwrappable as announced!
